Juicy boneless thigh and leg meat*, marinated in our secret green seasoning, coated in Barbs flour mix, and fried to golden perfection. Served with rice & peas and a pot of gravy. Best served with pickle, coleslaw, mac pie and a dollop of hot sauce.*Please note that leg and thigh meat has a higher myoglobin content which means it can retain a pinkish colour even after cooking. Rest assured that every piece of meat is temperature checked to ensure it’s cooked throughout before its sent to you.

You’re going to love Souse! This cold, tangy lime juice pickle is a Bajan favourite! Choose sweet potato on its own or paired with prawns, tender pork or chicken.

You’re going to love Souse! This cold, tangy pickle is a true taste of Barbados. Everyone has their own version, but ours is the best—cucumber, onion, lime, fresh herbs, and Scotch bonnet come together perfectly with your choice of tender shredded pork leg or shredded chicken breast and thigh - both marinated in seasoning and served with seasonal ‘hard food’ (it’s not served hard in case you were wondering) that will be sweet potato or breadfruit. Bold, zesty, and Bajan to the bone.

How it started

Barbs started with Nicc and his Grandma Alder, the queen of Bajan cooking and good vibes. In her kitchen, Nicc learned that great food isn’t just about flavour—it’s about bringing people together. Inspired by her legendary recipes, he created Barbs to share the joy, warmth, and unbeatable taste of Barbados with the world.
